Rebić extends contract with Mega Bemax

Nikola Rebić will continue playing for Mega Bemax as he extended his contract with the club for one more season.

Rebić arrived in Mega Bemax in December 2016, while he was one of the team best players in the second part of 2016/17 ABA League campaign.

"Signing with Mega Bemax back in December was a good decision, as it has helped me develop as a basketball player. Therefore, I did not have any second thoughts when the club offered me to extend the contract. Mega Bemax will again have a very young team, so I believe that I will get a proper chance to continue improving my skills. I understand that I will be among the most experienced players in the roster and I am aware of the responsibility that goes with that role, so I will do my best to show that I am worthy of the trust that the club has put into me," said Rebić.

Nikola Rebić averaged 7 points and 4.5 assists per match while playing for Mega Bemax in the 2016/17 ABA League season.

Rebić ostaje u Megi

Plejmejker Mega Bemaxa Nikola Rebić će i naredne sezone braniti boje kluba iz Sremske Mitrovice pošto je danas produžio ugovor sa klubom. Rebić je u redove Mege došao u decembru prošle godine iz Crvene zvezde mts, a u nedavno završenoj sezoni je bio jedan od najboljih igrača Mege.

Nikola Rebić je istakao da je nije puno razmišljao o produžavanju saradnje sa Mega Bemaxom:

– Dolazak u Megu prošle sezone je bio pravi potez koji mi je omogućio da se razvijem u pravom smeru pa sam, u dogovoru sa klubom i bez puno razmišljanja, odlučio da ostanem ovde i narednu sezonu. Mega Bemax će i sledeće godine imati mladu i talentovanu ekipu gde verujem da ću imati prostor i šansu da nastavim sa napretkom. Svakako ću biti među najiskusnijim igračima u ekipi, svestan sam te odgovornosti i daću sve od sebe da opravdam ukazano poverenje, izjavio je Rebić.

Nikola Rebić je prošle sezone u ABA ligi u za 20 minuta na terenu u proseku beležio 7 poena i 4.5 asistencije.
