Obrad Tomić is the first newcomer in Partizan NIS

It is official! Obrad Tomić has signed a 3-year deal with Partizan NIS and has therefore become the first newcomer in the black & white roster for the 2017/18 season. This 24-year old center averaged 11.4 points and 9.8 rebounds last season in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Championship and those numbers attracted attention of the famous Belgrade club.

"I am very happy because I became part of such a big and famous club. I accepted the call of Partizan NIS with a great enthusiasm, so I will give my best to justify the trust of the coaching staff and to earn the respect of the fans," said Tomić, who is currently with the Bosnia & Herzegovina national team.

Tomić spent the previous season in Kakanj, while before that he played for Mladost Mrkonjić Grad and Zrinjski.

Obrad Tomić je prvo pojačanje Partizana

Dosadašnji košarkaš Kaknja i reprezentativac Bosne i Hercegovine, Obrad Tomić, novi je igrač crno-belih. U sezoni za nama, novi centar Partizana NIS je u ligi BiH prosečno igrao više od 29 minuta i imao učinak od 11,4 poena i 9,8 skokova po utakmici.

Po potpisivanju trogodišnjeg ugovora, Tomić je sa priprema reprezentacije BiH poručio:

"Veoma sam srećan što sam postao deo velikog i slavnog kluba. Sa ogromnim entuzijazmom sam prihvatio poziv Partizana i sada želim da nakon reprezentativnih obaveza, pružim maksimum i svojim igrama i ponašanjem opravdam poverenje stručnog štaba i uprave, kao i zaslužim poverenje navijača", istakao je Tomić.

Obrad je rođen 4. avgusta 1993. u Trebinju, a pre Kaknja je nastupao za Mladost iz Mrkonjić Grada i Zrinjski.
