Zadar agreed with Kraljević, Špralja and Taphorn

Kraljević and Špralja, that have returned to Zadar, have signed one-year agreements, while the American has agreed to come to Višnjik for a tryout, after which the club can activate the extension clause.

27-year old center Filip Kraljević is returning to Zadar after a season with the Spanish ACB League side Zaragoza.

“I am happy that we have managed to agree with Filip. His potential is not questionable. I expect that he would enter the season maximally motivated, especially, since he wasn’t satisfied with the last season in Spain. In a combination with Krajina at position number five, they will definitely represent a respectable pair of centers, that will, I hope, bring solid results to us,” head coach Aramis Naglić commented.

Šime Špralja, 33-year old center, is coming back to Zadar after the 2004/05 season. After that he played for Split, Široki, Nymburk, Timisoara, Trelf Sopot, Vanoli Cremona, Antibes and spent the last two with Kvarner Rijeka and Jolly Šibenik.

“Špralja was the frontrunner in the practices s ofar in terms of effort and motivation. Due to such of an approach, he is a type of person that coaches love to have within their teams, a man of trust. I am convinced that he will prove himself of great use and that he will play the best way he can,” Naglić added.

Nathan Taphorn, is a 23-year old small forward, that spent the last four seasons with the Northwestern University. This will be the first European adventure for the player.

Regarding the new American reinforcement Naglić stated: “Taphorn is joining us at the right time, just before we are heading for the tournament in Italy. This will make his adaption a bit more complicated, but I expect that he would through practices and games demonstrate what he can do.”

Zadar postigao dogovor s Kraljevićem, Špraljom i Taphornom

Roster košarkaškog kluba Zadar i službeno je bogatiji za trojicu igrača. Jednogodišnje ugovore potpisali su centri Filip Kraljević i Šime Špralja koji već neko vrijeme treniraju sa Zadrom, a novo ime je Amerikanac Nathan Taphorn.

Povratnici Kraljević i Špralja potpisali su jednogodišnje ugovore, dok je Amerikanac potpisao ugovor s probnim razdobljem, nakon kojega klub može aktivirati klauzulu produljenja.

27-godišnji centar Filip Kraljević vraća se u Zadar, nakon sezone u španjolskom prvoligašu Zaragozi.

„Drago mi je što smo se uspjeli dogovoriti s Filipom. Njegov potencijal je neupitan. Očekujem da će ući maksimalno motivirano u novu sezonu, pogotovo zato što nije bio zadovoljan prošlom sezonom u Španjolskoj. U kombinaciji s Krajinom na 'petici' definitivno će predstavljati respektabilan par centara koji će nam, nadam se, donijeti solidne rezultate,“ poručuje trener Naglić.

Šime Špralja, 33-godišnji krilni centar, vraća se u Zadar nakon sezone 2004/05. Nakon toga je igrao u redovima Splita, Širokog, češkog Nymburka, rumunjskog BC Timisoara, poljskog Trefl Sopota, talijanske Vanoli Cremone, francuskog Antibesa, da bi prošle dvije sezone nastupao za riječki Kvarner i šibenski Jolly.

„Špralja je do sada na treninzima zaista prednjačio po trudu i motivaciji. Zbog takvog pristupa, on je osoba koju treneri vole imati u momčadi, čovjek od povjerenja. Siguran sam da će nam biti od koristi i da će odigrati najbolje što može,“ dodaje Naglić.

Nathan Taphorn, pak, 23-godišnji je krilni igrač (201 cm) koji je protekle četiri sezone nastupao za sveučilište Northwestern. Ovo mu je prva europska avantura.

O novom Američkom pojačanju Naglić veli: „Taphorn nam se priključuje u pravo vrijeme, taman pred naš put za turnir u Italiju. To će u neku ruku možda otežati njegovu prilagodbu, ali očekujem da će kroz treninge i utakmice koje nas očekuju pokazati što zna.“
