Cedevita have started the season just the way they had desired – after previously having won the ABA Super Cup in Bar, they have opened the regular season of the ABA League with a 2:0 score. They were better than both FMP and Zadar in the opening two rounds.

Game recap: Cedevita have demonstrated class in the game against Zadar and have opened the season the way every team wants to do it – with convincing victories against FMP and Zadar in the first two rounds of the ABA League regular season. It has been a one-sided contest from the very beginning and the visiting team never put their victory under the question mark.

Key moments: The winners of the game were quickly decided, as Cedevita have been increasing their lead in the opening period right from the start and led already by 15 points after 10 minutes of the game (29:14). It seemed at that point that there was nothing Zadar could do to turn its flow around and it turned out later that this was nothing but the truth.

Man of the match: It has been a sweet victory for the Zagreb side with (Will) Cherry on top as some would say, as Cherry was the go-to guy for the winners in majority of the game. He finished the clash with 17 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 steals and a game high valuation of 27. He is our man of the match!

Can't trick the stats: Cedevita were brilliant in the 3-point shot execution. They scored 17 attempts from beyond the arc (out of 31 attempted) – 54.8%, and Zadar scored only 27.8. This is what made the victory for the guests so easy.
