Story of the game: It has been a terrific ABA League night at Višnjik, where Zadar hosted Partizan NIS. 6000 fans of the home side filled the arena and created an electric sporting atmosphere, but this did not help their team to achieve the victory. Partizan NIS, led by exceptional Vanja Marinković, were the better of the two teams, and have deservedly celebrated the victory in the end with the final score of 104:97.

Key moments: Partizan was the better team for majority of the game and were in front by 14 points already in the third quarter. However, with two minutes remaining on the clock, Zadar managed to cut their deficit to only 2 points (93:91). The game remained close until Vanja Marinković scored a difficult shot from beyond the arc off the backboard, which took his team up by 5 points (98:93). Zadar then never managed to threaten the black and white lead again.

Man of the match: Who else but Vanja Marinković! He scored 33 points (7/8 for 3 points, 13/15 in total), 5 rebounds and an assist, which made up his total valuation of 31. He is our man of the match.

Can't trick the stats: Partizan NIS shined in their 3-point shot execution. They fired 16 attempts and scored 9 (56.3%). For comparison, Zadar scored 9 from 25 attempts. This is what influenced the outcome of the game decisively.
