Game recap: It has been another festival of basketball in Sremska Mitrovica, as Mega Bemax have hosted Partizan NIS. In a wonderful atmosphere in packed Pinki Sports Hall, the guests have demonstrated excellent performance, to show off the pink & blue side. By doing this, the Belgrade squad have claimed their fifth ABA League victory of the season and will find themselves amongst the best four squads in the standings after eight rounds. On the other end, Mega Bemax will continue the season in the lower half of the standings, with 3 wins on their record.

Key moments: After Mega Bemax have prevailed in the opening quarter, the key moments have arrived in the second period. At the end of the 17th minute it has still been anybody’s game, as Partizan NIS led 43:40. However, a 7:2 run in favour of the black and white followed in the next two minutes which pushed Partizan to a 9-point lead (51:42). This was the turning point and it was no way back into the battle for the victory for Mega Bemax after this.

Man of the match: Nigel Williams-Goss! The excellent point guard ended the game with a double double (23 points, 10 assists), alongside 3 rebounds and a steal. He is our man of the match!

Can't trick the stats: The major difference between the two squads was in the 3-point shot success rate. While the winning side was shooting 3-pointers 11/23 (47.8%), the hosts were shooting them only 6/29 (20.7%).
