Game recap: We will definitely not make a mistake of we write that this was one of the most incredible games of the 2017/18 ABA League season! Cedevita have defeated Zadar in overtime thanks to Roko Leni Ukić who made the game-winning 2-pointer in the final second! Therefore, Cedevita have continued their chase for the top spot, while Zadar have broken their winning streak.
Key moments: First of all, we should write that Zadar had a big chance to win this match at the end of the fourth quarter, however Luka Božić missed a wide open 3-pointer in the final secodns and the game went into overtime – 87:87. There, Zadar were up by 96:93, with 90 seconds left on the clock, but then Cedevita youngster Džanan Musa made 7 points in just 30 seconds and the home team were up by 100:96!
But, on the other side, Lovre Bašić made a stunning 3-pointer from downtown and reduced the gap to 100:99, while then Luka Božić made both free-throws and Zadar had regained the lead – 101:100!
Cedevita called for a time-out, they had 6 seconds to win this game and the ball went to the hands of Roko Leni Ukić. He played 1-on-1 against Lovre Bašić… Roko Leni Ukić made the game-winning 2-pointer in the final second of overtime – 102:101 for Cedevita!
Man of the match: It just can’t be any other than Roko Leni Ukić. The truth is that he did not really have the best game of the season, but still he had 9 points and 8 assists. And, of course, he made the most important shot in the entire match.
