Partizan NIS have achieved a new triumph, their eighth this season in the ABA League, by beating Igokea on the road in Laktaši and are still in the race for the top four when the regular season ends, as they are still only a win behind Mornar, that are occupying the fourth spot at the moment. On the other side, Igokea have more work to do on their mission to escape the danger zone in the lower half of the standings, as they remain with 6 wins on their record.

Key moments: Partizan NIS have turned the flow of the game around in the 3rd quarter, when they have converted a 5-point deficit into an 11-point lead. However, Igokea have managed to tie the game in the 39th minute after fighting back at 65:65. That’s when Nigel Williams-Goss stepped up and scored a crucial 3-pointer with 1:10 left on the game clock for 68:65. Igokea haven’t managed to return into the battle for 2 points again until the end.

Man of the match: Who else but Novica Veličković? The black and white big man had 25 points, 3 rebounds, just as many assists and a valuation of 29! He is our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Assists, turnovers and steals were the ones that decided the winner this time around. Partizan NIS were better in all 3 of the categories and have deservedly prevailed in the end!
