Game recap: Crvena zvezda mts are now close to reaching the ABA League Finals, as they have beaten Mornar in the first game of the Semifinal series and need only one more triumph in the series in order to reach the battle for the first spot. If their game will be as convincing on the road in the second leg, as it was at the home court in Belgrade, then there will be no question regarding that. The red and white were in the first game in control of the clash from its very beginning and until the end and have deservedly got into the lead in the series.

Key moments: It has been anybody’s game until seventh minute, when Zvezda were still ahead by only 2 points (13:11), but in the next two minutes they have gone on a 9:0 run, with 4 points by Milko Bjelica, 3 by Ognjen Dobrić and 2 by James Feldeine. This has pretty much decided the winner of this game, as the guests never managed to make it a tight game again.

Man of the match: James Feldeine! The excellent guard spent 25 minutes on court in the red and white jersey and had 23 points, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 rebound and a valuation of 25. The fact which makes his performance even more impressive is that his team have created themselves a 26-point advantage during the time that he spent on court. He is rightfully our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Without starting center Uroš Luković, Mornar could not cope with Zvezda under both rims. This became especially evident in rebounding, where the hosts were better by 11 rebounds (37:26).
