ABA League Semi-finals, Round 2, Sunday, 25.3.2018:

CEDEVITABUDUĆNOST VOLI

Where? Dom sportova, Zagreb

When? 18:00

Story of the game: Huge game is coming to Zagreb, as Cedevita will be hosting Budućnost VOLI in Dom sportova in what might well be the last game of the hosts in the ABA League this season. However, they still have everything in their hands and will be fighting to prevent this kind of an outcome. They need a win to take the series into a decisive third game, which would be played in Podgorica again.

In the first game of these two sides, Cedevita were close to making a break in Morača, but they let go of their convincing lead in the final minutes of the game – which indicates that their options are nothing but still alive at the moment. Can they take advantage of them this time?

Match-up in focus: Definitely the clash that will be in focus this time, will be the head to head battle of youngster Džanan Musa, the top scorer of Cedevita this season (13.3 points per game) and Nemanja Gordić on the other end, which is not only Budućnost VOLI’s top scorer (15 ppg), but also top passer (4.7 assists per game). In the round 1 of the Semi-finals Gordić was the one to explode, as the had 23 points, 5 assists, 4 steals and valuation of 30 and was crucial for the comeback and win of his team in Morača. Can he be stopped this time?

Head to head in regional league: In total 13:11; In Zagreb 9:2.
