Popović: „Reaching the Finals huge boost for confidence“
Budućnost VOLI have finally reached the ABA League Finals, after several years of their attempts of doing so. Petar Popović believes that his team will be ready for the challenge when the series tip off.

Petar Popović, Budućnost VOLI player:
“We will play against a tough opponent. It will be a tough series where we will play back to back games. In case a decisive game is played, we would be playing five games in only seven days. Zvezda is excellent, they have deserved 11 wins in EuroLeague. We have lost the burden, that was upon us for years by reaching the Finals. This is a big plus for our confidence. We are not afraid of Zvezda and we are eager for the Finals to begin.
Against quality players the focus must be on highest level. We must know the qualities and shortcomings of every player, regardless of whether he is a star or not. I believe that we will be ready for any challenge.”

Popović: „Prolazak u finale veliki plus za samopouzdanje“
Budućnost VOLI je napokon, nakon više godina pokušanja, uspela da se plasira u finale ABA lige. Petar Popović vjeruje da će njegova ekipa biti spremna na izazov.
Petar Popović, igrač Budućnosti VOLI:
„Čeka nas izuzetno zahtjevan protivnik, zahtjevna serija gdje se mečevi igraju dan za danom. Ukoliko bi se igrala majstorica, igrali bi pet mečeva za sedam dana. Zvezda je odlična, zaslužila je 11 pobjeda u Evroligi. Skinuli smo veliki teret koji je nametnut godinama, prolaskom u finale. To nam je veliki plus na polju samopouzdanja. Ne bojimo se Zvezde, jedva čekamo da počne finalna serija.
Protiv kvalitetnih igrača treba da bude koncentracija i fokus na najvišem nivou. Što se svakog igrača tiče za kojeg se spremamo, bio velika zvijezda ili ne, da im znamo i kvalitete i mane. Mislim da ćemo biti spremni za svaki izazov.“
