Jure Zdovc is no longer Cedevita head coach
Cedevita team will have a new head coach in the new season, as the club's management have terminated the cooperation with Jure Zdovc on mutual consent.

Given the terms of the contract between the two sides, that included a clause, that would automatically extend the cooperation with Jure Zdovc at the head coach position in case of winning the ABA League or EuroCup trophy, the two sides have decided not to extend their contract.
“Jure Zdovc is a brilliant person and a coach, that will be remembered at Cedevita as the Croatian National League champion, winner of the Krešimir Ćosić Cup and the ABA Super Cup, on which we wish to thank and congratulate him. However, the ambitions of the club are clear and they include return to the EuroLeague, which we did not succeed to do this season. We were close, one shot, one free throw, separated us from achieving the goal, but we did not make it neither through ABA League, nor EuroCup and we will try to do so in the new season with a new head coach. We have several options open and we will make our minds these days. The new head coach will lead the team in the EuroCup and the ABA League, while in the Croatian National Championship, our second team, with the young players under the guidance of Slaven Rimac, will play,” the club’s GM Davor Užbinec told after the departure of Zdovc.

Jure Zdovc više nije trener Cedevite
Košarkaši Cedevite u novoj će sezoni imati novog trenera, pošto su u klubu sa Jure Zdovcom sporazumno raskinuli suradnju.
S obzirom na uvjete ugovora, koji je automatski produživao ostanak Jure Zdovca na mjestu trenera jedino u slučaju osvajanja ABA lige ili Eurokupa, jučer su obije strane sporazumnim dogovorom odlučile da se ugovor neće produžavati.
"Jure Zdovc je sjajan čovjek i trener koji će u Cedeviti ostati upamćen kao osvajač prvenstva Hrvatske, Kupa Krešimira Ćosića i ABA Superkupa na čemu mu čestitamo i zahvaljujemo. No, ambicije kluba su jasne, ponovno ostvarivanje prava igranja u Euroligi što se ove sezone nije uspjelo. Bili smo blizu, odlučivala je jedna lopta, slobodno bacanje, no nismo uspjeli niti kroz ABA ligu niti kroz Eurokup 7Days ostvariti plasman u Euroligu pa ćemo u novoj sezoni to pokušati s novim trenerom. Imamo nekoliko opcija a odluku ćemo donijeti ovih dana. Novi trener vodit će momčad u Eurokupu i ABA ligi dok će u hrvatskom prvenstvu do doigravanja igrati naša druga momčad, s mladim talentiranim igračima pod vodstvom Slavena Rimca", rekao je po odlasku Jure Zdovca direktor kluba Davor Užbinec.
