INTERVIEW: Miloš Komatina – “We do not feel any pressure”

Igokea player Miloš Komatina gave an interview for the official ABA League website in which he talked about the current season and about the two key games that are in front of his team.

Two rounds before the end of the regular season Igokea are placed among the teams that have 9 wins. What will be the decisive factor in the battle for staying in the ABA League?

"Everything is in our hands. In the next round we are playing against Zadar at home and we are going for a win which would fulfill our primary goal. And that is - staying in the ABA League.”

The game against Zadar will be your last home game in this ABA League season. How much will the support of your fans mean to you in the upcoming clash?

"Certainly a lot. They have been coming to the games in much larger number than in the previous years. We want to thank them with one more win and we want to finish this season"s journey on a nice way.”

Those last two rounds in the regular season will also carry a lot of pressure. How does your team prepare for such important games?

"We do not feel any pressure. We have a lot of experienced players who know how to play the big games, while we are also working very hard on trainings and that helps us to believe in ourselves. The only question is how much we will be able to fulfill all those tasks that we are practicing every day.”

How would you rate Igokea"s season so far?

"It was a turbulent season. There were a lot of changes, both in the roster and in the coaching staff. However, we hope that we will play good in the next two games and that we will finish the season in the upper part of the standings.”

For the end, is there any game from this season that you enjoyed the most, and also is there some game that you would rather forget?

"We played the best games against two Euroleague teams - Crvena zvezda Telekom and Cedevita. We defeated Crvena zvezda Telekom in Belgrade, while the one against Cedevita that was played in Laktaši was that one I would rather forget. We had a big chance to win the match, but we eventually lost it after the overtime.”

Miloš Komatina: „Ne osjećamo pritisak"

Miloš Komatina, startni centar Igokee, dao je intervju za zvaničan sajt ABA lige u kojem je pričao o dosadašnjem delu sezone, kao i o odlučujućim utakmicama koje očekuju njegov tim u preostala dva kola.

Dva kola pre kraja Igokea se nalazi medju ekipama koje imaju 9 pobeda. šta će po vašem mišljenju biti presudno u borbi za opstanak?

"Imamo sve u svojim rukama. U narednom kolu igramo kući protiv Zadra i, bez obzira na ostale rezultate, mi u tu utakmicu igramo za pobjedu tako da i matematički ostvarimo zacrtani cilj, a to je ostanak u ligi.”

Meč protiv Zadra u Laktašima će ujedno biti i vaša poslednja utakmica na domaćem terenu u ABA ligi ove sezone. Koliko će vam podrška sa tribina značiti u tom predstojećem okršaju?

"Sigurno će nam značiti podrška naših vjernih navijača koji su ove sezone bili u mnogo većem broju nego prethodnih sezona. Želimo da završimo sezonu na lep način i da se pobedom oprostimo od njih.”

Sigurno da će naredna dva kola nositi sa sobom i veliku dozu pritiska. Kako se ekipa sprema za tako važne utakmice kao što je naredna protiv Zadra?

"Mi ne osjećamo pritisak. Imamo mnogo iskusnih igrača koji su navikli na ovakve utakmice, a sigurno je da i na treningu radimo kvalitetno i vjerujemo u sebe. Samo je pitanje koliko ćemo ispoštovati ono što svakodnevno radimo na treninzima.”

Kako ocenjujete dosadašnji deo sezone?

"Sezona je bila turbulentna. Desilo se mnogo promjena, što igračkog kadra, što promjena u stručnom štabu. Ipak, nadamo se da ćemo odigrati dobro preostale dve utakmice i da ćemo završiti ovosezonsko takmičenje u gornjoj polovici tabele ABA lige.”

Koji meč iz ove sezone vam je ostao u najlepšem sećanju, a koji biste najviše voleli da zaboravite?

"Ove sezone najljepše i najkvalitetnije mečeve smo odigrali sa evroligaškim ekipama Crvene zvezde Telekom i Cedevite. Zvezdu smo uspjeli da pobijedimo u Beogradu, a utakmica za zaborav je odigrana u Laktašima protiv Cedevite koju smo izgubili poslije produžetaka, a sve vrijeme smo imali šansu da pobijedimo.”
