Zadar have appointed new head coach. Neven Plantak has signed a contract until the end of the season, while he will start working with the team immediately.

Zadar have appointed new head coach. Neven Plantak has signed a contract until the end of the season, while he will start working with the team immediately.
Plantak started this season as the head coach of Trepča Mitrovica, while before that he was working in Borik-Puntamika (Croatia), Jazine (Croatia), Slavonski Brod (Croatia), Posušje (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Široki (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Komarno (Slovakia) and Handlova (Slovakia).
"I am glad that I got an opportunity to coach Zadar. The situation is not simple, but we will work hard to improve our form and to make better results. I will be able to see the exact state of the team only when I see players' reaction on trainings. There is no much time for analysis, because we are heading toward a tough match against Karpoš Sokoli on Friday. They faced the three best ABA League teams in the last 3 rounds and scored 2 wins. Therefore, it will be very difficult, but we will give our best and try to win," said Neven Plantak.

Košarkaši Zadra saznali su ime novog trenera. U nastavku sezone vodit će ih domaći stručnjak Neven Plantak. Suradnja s njim dogovorena je do kraja aktualne sezone.
Novi trener Zadra Neven Plantak do prije nekoliko tjedana uspješno je vodio Trepču iz Mitrovice, a prije toga okušao se na klupi zadarskih klubova Borik-Puntamike i Jazina, hrvatskog prvoligaša Slavonskog Broda, bosansko-hercegovačkih prvoligaša Posušja i Širokog, te slovačkih klubova Komarna i Handlove...
"Drago mi je da sam dobio priliku voditi Zadar. Situacija nije lagana, ali ćemo nastojati podići formu i napraviti bolje rezultate. Točno stanje u momčadi moći ću utvrditi tek kada vidim reakciju igrača na treninzima. Nema puno vremena za analize, jer nas već u petak očekuje neugodan ogled s momčadi Karpoš Sokoli. Oni su u zadnja tri kola ABA lige igrali s tri najbolje momčadi u ligi te su pobijedili Budućnost i Cedevitu, a izgubili samo od Crvene zvezde. Bit će teško, no na nama je da pružimo svoj maksimum i pokušamo pobijediti" - poručio je novi trener Zadra.
