Luka Lapornik returned to Krka

Luka Lapornik played for Krka 3 seasons between 2013 and 2016. During these years he contributed hugely to the successes of the club and won one domestic league and three domestic cup trophies with it.

Last season he averaged 22 minutes, 8.5 points, 3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, playing in Romania with Steaua.

Luka Lapornik expressed his satisfaction after returning to Leon Štukelj Hall: “I am happy to be returning to Novo mesto, since I have played one of the best seasons in my career there and I have such great memories on this period. We have quickly agreed on cooperation and the things that have convinced me in doing so were the ABA League participation, the ambitions of the club and the way the team is composed. It is important that the core of the team stays together. I believe that I can contribute lots to the team, since the style of the game that coach Petrov has, suits me well. I will do my best in order to achieve the set goals with the team.”

V Krko se vrača tudi Luka Lapornik

Po dveh sezonah v Španiji in Romuniji se v novomeški klub vrača Luka Lapornik.

Luka je za Krko igral 3 sezone od 2013/14 do 2015/16. V teh letih je veliko prispeval k uspehom kluba in z njim osvojil en naslov državnih in 3 naslove pokalnih prvakov.

V pretekli sezoni je v ekipi romunske Steaue igral povprečno 22 minut na tekmo in dosegel 8,5 točk, 3 skoke in 1,6 asistenc na tekmo.

Luka Lapornik je izrazil zadovoljstvo ob povratku v dvorano Leona Štuklja: "Vesel sem, da se vračam v Novo mesto, saj sem tam odigral eno najboljših sezon v karieri do sedaj in imam na to obdobje lepe spomine. Hitro smo se dogovorili za sodelovanje, prepričalo me je ponovno igranje ABA lige, ambicije kluba, sestava ekipe. Zdi se mi pomembno, da so v klubu zadržali okostje ekipe. Mislim da lahko dam s svojimi izkušnjami tej ekipi veliko, saj mi odgovarja stil igre, ki ga goji trener Petrov. Naredil bom vse, za doseganje zastavljenih ciljev."
