The Wolves have gathered in Zagreb

Cibona have started their 2018/19 adventure. New head coach Ivan Velić has gathered the team in Zagreb where they will spend the first part of the preparations for the new season.

On the first training, Velić worked with 8 players - Marin Rozić, Karlo Uljarević, Ivan Novačić, Krešimir Ljubičić, Filip Kraljević, Josip Popić, Marko Ljubičić and Igor Marić. Brandis Raley-Ross will join the team later this day, Dominic Gilbert will arrive in Zagreb on August 19, while Josip Bilinovac will team up with the others when he returns from the national team.

Cibona have already scheduled several friendly games, as they want to be fully ready for the start of the new season when they will face Crvena zvezda mts on the road in the opening round of the 2018/19 ABA League.

Vukovi započeli pripreme za novu sezonu

Košarkaški Cibone na čelu s novim trenerom Ivanom Velićem i pomoćnicima Barišom Krasićem i Damirom Meštrovićem okupili su se pod Tornjem.

Na raspolaganju treneru Veliću su kapetan Marin Rozić, Karlo Uljarević, Ivan Novačić, Krešimir Ljubičić, Filip Kraljević, Josip Popić, Marko Ljubičić i Igor Marić. Dolazak Brandisa Raley-Rossa očekuje se tijekom dana dok će Dominic Gilbert biti na raspolaganju od 19. kolovoza, a Josip Bilinovac nakon obaveza s reprezentacijom.

Vukovi će veći dio pripremnog perioda boraviti u Zagrebu, zakazano je i nekoliko prijateljskih utakmica te turnira među kojima je i turnir u Ljubuškom 21. i 22. rujna.

Podsjetimo kako ABA liga počinje zadnji vikend u rujna pa će tako Cibosi u prvom kolu, 28. rujna gostovati kod Crvene Zvezde dok se početak HT Premijer liga očekuje prvi vikend u listopadu.
