Cedevita will play in the 2018 ABA Super Cup semifinals

Game recap: Cedevita have successfully started their 2018/19 campaign by beating Zadar in the 2018 ABA League Quarterfinals. Although they haven’t really presented their best performance, the Orange squad can be quite satisfied with the way they looked in their 1st official game. With no less than 8 new players in the team, Cedevita showed some great teamwork, so their fans can definitely be excited about the new season.
Also, it must mentioned that Zadar also played a very good game and they were actually very close to stun Cedevita this evening. Still, they stayed without strength in the final moments and missed a chance to beat the big favorite.
Key moments: Zadar were up by 1 point on 4 minutes before the end of the game – 75:74, but then Cedevita responded with the crucial 9:0 run and went in front – 83:75. And, the Orange side had no problems keeping that lead in the rest of the match.
Man of the match: James Bell. Remember this name, as he might be the best player of Cedevita in the upcoming season. This evening he was the top scorer in the winning side with 23 points.
Can’t trick the stats: Like we already wrote, Cedevita really looked like a team in this match. And the overall number of assists proves that – Cedevita had 24, Zadar had 15.
