Game recap: After the opening 3 rounds of the new season Cibona were at the bottom of the table with the overall score of 0-3. But, today they defeated Mornar at home court and scored their 3rd win in row in the 2018/19 ABA League regular season!

It means that Cibona now have the overall score of 3-3 and they are currently placed at the 3rd spot on the standings!

Key moments: Cibona have probably made the most powerful game opening in the entire 2018/19 season, as they were up by 19:0 in the middle of the 1st quarter. However, Mornar refused to surrender and the visitors managed to reduce the gap to just 5 points in the 4th quarter, with 6 minutes left on the game clock – 66:61. Unfortunately for them, then Mr. Key Shots stepped up for the home side. Marko Ljubičić, the hero of Cibona in the previous two rounds, scored 2 consecutive 3-pointers and single-handedly repelled the last attempt of Mornar to make a comeback.

Man of the match: Johndre Jefferson was the dominant figure in the paint in today’s match. Cibona starting center scored 15 points, had 11 rebounds, while he also made 4 blocks (all of the in the 1st quarter). His overall index rating was 28.

Can’t trick the stats: And it was not just Jefferson who was making rebounds for Cibona. The entire home team was very good in this game element and that huge desire has brought them 14 rebounds more than the away team.
