Game recap: Two Playoffs zone teams have met in Sremska Mitrovica on Saturday night, and the game was just as exciting as one would expect from the clash of two teams, separated by only 1 victory before the beginning of the round. Cedevita started the game strongly and quickly let everyone know that taking a pair of points back home to Zagreb with them is the only acceptable option for them in this game. The hosts fought back in the remainder of the game and took it to overtime, where Cedevita prevailed eventually. After 14 rounds, Cedevita are now alone in the second place in the standings with 10 triumphs, while Mega Bemax continue the season with 8 and will be at the edge of the Playoffs zone.

Key moments: Cedevita went up by 20 points early in the game – in the opening 7 minutes of the clash (31:11).
However, Mega Bemax did not give up and managed even to force overtime in the final seconds of the game – it was 90:90 after 40 minutes.

In the extra period, the teams were close throughout the 5 minutes and Edin Atić brought Mega Bemax to only 1-point deficit at the beginning of 45th minute. However, Jacob Pullen scored a triple with half a minute left on the game clock to put his team up 103:99 and it was too late for Mega to make another comeback yet again.

Man of the match: He did not just score the key three-pointer for the victory, but also led Cedevita in scoring during the game. He had 31 points, combined with 2 rebounds and a steal, which makes it a valuation of 22. Jacob Pullen is our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Mega Bemax have won the rebounding battle, but Cedevita had no less than 11 steals, compared to 3 of Mega Bemax, while Mega Bemax also had 21 turnovers and Cedevita 13. This turned out to be decisive in the end.
