Game recap: With 4 rounds left to be played in the 2018/19 championship, FMP have come so close to definitely secure their ABA League status for the next season. The Panthers defeated Krka on the road this Sunday evening, after making a big comeback in the last quarter.

Therefore, FMP now have the overall score of 8-10 and that’s 3 wins more than Petrol Olimpija and Krka have at this moment. And those two teams are currently placed at the bottom of the table.

Key moments: Everything looked good for Krka until the last quarter. Until then they were up by 62:51 and it seemed that the home team would score a comfortable win. But, that’s not what FMP had in mind. The visitors won the last quarter by 25:9 and made a stunning comeback.

The comeback was completed in the last minute of the match. At that moment Krka were still up by 1 point – 71:70, but then FMP’s guard Stefan Pot scored 6 points in a row and led his team toward a big road win.

Man of the match: Stefan Pot! There is absolutely no doubt about this. Not just that he scored those 6 crucial points for FMP, but his whole stats were just impressive. Pot finished the match with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists, while his overall index rating was 35. And he is currently leading the race for the MVP of the round.

Can’t trick the stats: Krka did make 12 three-pointers in this match, but they had 39 attempts! Too many as it turned out at the end. Interesting enough, the home team had the same number of 2-point shots and free-throws combined…
