Just like for many seasons before, ABA League still had its players selected at high positions at the 2019 NBA Draft and was again recognized as a unique competition outside of North America, when it comes to production of top-level talent.

Goga Bitadze, the reigning ABA League MVP and Top Prospect, who used to play both for Mega Bemax and Budućnost VOLI last season, was selected as 18th overall pick at the 2019 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers.

Immediately after the Georgian big man, another ABA League youngster’s name was heard from the stage – Luka Šamanić of Petrol Olimpija was selected by the San Antonio Spurs as the 19th overall pick at the 2019 NBA Draft.

For the end of the 2019 NBA Draft, Vanja Marinković of Partizan NIS was selected by the Sacramento Kings as the 60th overall pick, which made the final trio of the ABA League players selected this year at this prestigious event.

ABA League congratulates the selected youngsters at the 2019 NBA Draft and is proud of their achievement and at the same time convinced that they would have brilliant careers overseas, once their time arrives.
