We had two ABA League clashes this evening in the 2019/20 preseason.

Budućnost VOLI defeated Mega Bemax in Podgorica, after making a major comeback in the 2nd half of the match. Mega's troops were up by 10 at the halftime – 49:59, however, Budućnost VOLI improved their defense significantly in the rest of the match and the home team grabbed a sweet win in the first prep match played in front of their fans.

Zoran Nikolić was the top scorer for Budućnost VOLI with 20 points. Interesting enough, Nikolić spent the last 6 months on a loan deal in Mega Bemax. Scott Bamforth made another excellent preseason display as he finished the match with 16 points, while Justin Cobbs added 14 points for the winning team.

On the other side, Filip Stanić was far the best player in Mega Bemax, as he scored 27 points this evening.

Zadar have prevailed against their big rivals Cibona in a friendly game played in Velika Gorica. The three newcomers led Zadar troops toward the win in this match. Bryon Allen was the game top scorer with 22 points, while Ivan Siriščević and James Farr scored 18 points each.

Young power forward Mate Vucić made 13 points for Cibona, while Marko Ramljak added 12.
