EC: First Top 16 defeat for Partizan NIS
In the Eurocup Top 16, Partizan NIS suffered their first defeat, as Darussafaka were stronger than the black and white at home in Istanbul.

Partizan NIS continue their EuroCup journey with 2 triumphs and one defeat on their record, as they have been defeated in the third round of the EuroCup Top 16 on the road in Istanbul by Darussafaka, suffering their first loss of the second phase of the European competition.
Partizan NIS have started the game well and they were in front at half time by two points (30:32). However, in the third quarter, Darussafaka were better with the score of 18:11 and have turned the game completely upside down. They were up by 4 points ahead of the final period in which the black and white simply did not manage to make a comeback and the final score was 65:63 in favour of Darussafaka.
For Andrea Trhinchieri’s squad, the most efficient this time were Rade Zagorac, Marcus Paige and James McAdoo, as each of them contributed 13 points to the success of their team.
