MVP of February: Uroš Luković (Mornar)

Mornar have been shining lately in the ABA League and for sure Uroš Luković, who has been dominating the courts wherever he has appeared, has contributed vastly to this success. And in the month of February, he has been simply dominant in terms of stats in the ABA League as well fantastic figures of 23 points, 8 rebounds, 6 blocks and 38 points per game.

What is the secred behind his success? “I believe that there is no secret. If there was one, I would be glad to use it in the first half of the season as well, when we were not doing so well as a team,” Luković smiles.

However, then he added in a bit more serious tone also: “For our good shape the excellent atmosphere within the team is responsible for sure. We have been building this since the beginning of the season and now that we need it the most we have a kind of atmosphere that we desired, when we are pushing each other forward.”

And what are the goals for the remainder of the season like? Mornar are currently close to reaching the Playoffs for the second time in their history. Uroš Luković believes that accomplishing this goal could we be the case when the Regular season ends: “We are giving our best in every single game and we hope to qualify for the Playoffs.”
