In the extremely constructive atmosphere, having in mind all of the relevant circumstances, the ABA League clubs have agreed on the conclusion, that it is inevitable to take advantage of all of the options for the season to be finished on court, when the necessary conditions arise, in accordance with the recommendations of the relevant health authorities and local governments.

Regarding that, the primary goal of the ABA League is that the 2019/20 season is finished in the existing and pre-set format.

At the same time, ABA League will follow the pandemic situation and analyse potential alternative competition systems that could be activated only if the situation would so require and that will be discussed upon at the ABA League j.t.d. Assembly.

ABA League j.t.d. clubs have concluded that the health of the people is now an absolute priority and that all of the subjects (league, clubs, players, coaches, referees…) should, through various campaigns, continue to hold an active role in the battle against the COVID-19 virus.

As always by now, the ABA League j.t.d. clubs will continue to cooperate firmly, to exchange informations and ideas, with the aim of understanding the situation better and making the best possible decisions in the interests of the ABA League.
