Budućnost VOLI head coach Luka Pavićević stated that Mega Leks played with more energy and that their rivals had bigger desire for a win in this semifinal series.

"I would like to congratulate Mega Leks on advancing to the ABA League Finals. This was a very exciting game, in which we have once again missed our chance to score a win. We have been significantly better than in the previous game, however apart from playing good defense it is also necessary to have a control over your offense. When you are facing Mega Leks, you need to control their full-court pressure, which we have been doing very good at some moments. But, we have also had some periods when we could not find a proper solution. In the final moments of the game, they had more energy and a bigger desire for the win, which has decided the winner."
