What are your impressions about the second Semi-final game against Crvena zvezda Telekom?
"It is truly a tough defeat. Crvena zvezda Telekom shined in the second half. We played statically, which suits them well and they took advantage of it. In the first half we had a chance to create a bigger margin in our favour. If we managed to create it, the game would probably go other way, but we did not and Zvezda deservedly won in the end."
Are you sorry for the chance that you missed?
"Of course. Especially for the fact that we had a great chance to make a break in the series in the first game in Belgrade. If we won that game, I"m pretty convinced that we would be the ones celebrating this time instead of Zvezda players. However, this is the way life goes. We need to get ready for the remainder of the season.”
What is your opinion of Cedevita"s season so far? Was it successful?
"Well, some things could have been better for sure. Of course, it could also have been worse. Our main remaining goal is to win the Croatian National Championship and perhaps to win another game in the Euroleague until the end.”
Before the last ABA League game of your team this season you also received the award for the MVP of the season. How important is this for your right now?
"It is important for me. The season in the ABA League is long, there are lots of games and it"s difficult to constantly play well. However, if you ask me, I would not hesitate to trade this award for the award of the MVP of the Finals. I"m just sorry that we did not take our chance of qualifying for the Finals.”
