Mega Leks small forward Djordje Simeunović spoke for the ABA League TV about the forthcoming final series against Crvena zvezda Telekom. Take a look at what he said in the video.
Mega Leks had plenty of time to get ready for the ABA League Finals. What have you been doing in the past month?
"Yes, we have had time to prepare ourselves for the big Finals and that really meant a lot to us, especially because we are 'short in rotation' as we have 3-4 injured players. We have used this period to rest, regenerate and to cool our heads. We have increased the intensity of our trainings in the past two weeks and I think we are ready for the final series."
You have already won one trophy in this season - the Serbian National Cup. How much has that success changed your season?
"Well, we were aware that we could do such a thing, but the people did not really expected that from us. Now, the whole public knows that we have a chance to win some more trophies in this season. They have started taking us seriously."
Can Mega Leks make another huge upset in this season and prevail over Crvena zvezda Telekom in the ABA League Finals?
"I hope so...We will fight."
