Croatia and Serbia were drawn in two different groups at the Olympic Basketball Tournament in Rio de Janeiro in a draw, that followed the end of the final game of the Manila Olympic Basketball Tournament.

Serbia will compete in Group A alongside France, USA, Venezuela, China and Australia.
On the other side, Croatia was drawn into Group B, where they will take on Argentina, Spain, Brazil, Lithuania and Nigeria.
