Zadar part ways with Franko Šango

A player who was born in Zadar and who spent almost his entire career wearing the famous white and blue jersey will leave his home this summer.

Franko šango will not play for Zadar in the 2016/17 season. Two sides failed to reach an agreement on contract extension, so they decided to part ways after a long and successful cooperation.

šango played for Zadar from 2011 to 2013. then he spent the 2013/14 campaign in Slavonski Brod, while after that he returned to his Zadar and played the previous two seasons for the white and blue crew.

In the 2015/16 ABA League season, this 24-year small forward averaged 3.4 points and 0.8 rebounds per match.
