Can Crvena zvezda beat mighty Maccabi once again?

In the 12th round of the Euroleague, Crvena zvezda mts will host Maccabi Tel Aviv in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade.

The fans of the red & whites certainly remember the last match against Maccabi Tel Aviv. It was played in Belgrade, on March 5, 2015, and back then Crvena zvezda mts prevailed over Israeli powerhouse - 89:76.

Interesting enough, 6 players from the current roster of Crvena zvezda mts were also part of that team which beat Maccabi Tel Aviv two seasons ago. Charles Jenkins, Luka Mitrović, Nemanja Dangubić and Stefan Jović played that match, Nikola Rebić spent the whole game at the bench, while Branko Lazić was sidelined at the moment so he could not help his teammates.

Anyway, that match will stay remembered by an unbelievable last quarter, in which the Belgrade crew scored 35 points, including 5 three-pointers and made a huge comeback against Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Now, everyone in the red & white crew hope that they can repeat history and that they will manage to get back on the winning path after losing 3 previous games in the 2016/17 Euroleague season.
