2017/18 ABA League Regular Season, Round 8, Saturday, 11.11.2017:

MEGA BEMAXPARTIZAN NIS

Where? Pinki Sports Hall, Sremska Mitrovica

When? 19:00

Story of the game: It will be a full house on Saturday in Sremska Mitrovica, as Mega Bemax will host Partizan NIS at home in Pinki Sports Hall. The presence of one of two Belgrade giants always sparks attention in the local games and this time it is expected not to be any different, especially due to the importance of the game for both squads.

Both of them, that have been members of the ABA League Playoffs over the past two seasons, are still hoping for a spot in the top four, even though they do not find themselves amongst them at the moment. While Mega lack one victory to reach FMP in the fourth place, Partizan have the same number of victories as FMP, but a bit worse point difference, which puts them below their rivals in the standings.

However, new victory could change it all and it could easily happen that the winner of this game would be placed on a Playoffs spot ahead of round 9. Which would be a huge phychological boost before the remainder of the season.

Match-up in focus: Kostja Mushidi has recently returned to basketball courts after an injury and shined in the game against MZT Skopje Aerodrom already (18 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist & block) and he will be the once to try to steal all of the limelight from Partizan NIS guard Nigel Williams Goss at the other end, who is currently the top passer of the entire league with 8.14 assists made per game. Will he be able to do it? Watch the game and find out!

Head to head in regional league: In total 2:6; on Mega Leks’ court 1:3.
