2017/18 ABA League Regular Season, Round 8, Sunday, 12.11.2017:

PETROL OLIMPIJAMZT SKOPJE AERODROM

Where? Stožice Arena, Ljubljana

When? 21:00

Story of the game: The last game of Sunday’s ABA League evening will be a hugely important one. Petrol Olimpija will be hosting MZT Skopje Aerodrom in Stožice Arena, Ljubljana.

Both teams are currently in a tough situation, as they are, alongside Zadar, occupying the very bottom of the standings and a victory would mean a bit of relief to them, while defeat would bring them more struggle on their mission towards escaping the danger zone.
Both of them also need to win in order to boost their confidence, as each of of them is on a 3-game winless streak, which they wish to end as soon as possible.

Petrol Olimpija will play this game as well without their point guards Talor Battle and Jan Barbarič. On the other hand, for MZT Skopje Aerodrom only the appearance of Yordan Minchev is questionable.

Match-up in focus: Both teams have some excellent shooters from long range on the team and we will be able to enjoy the showdown of two national team players of their countries on court this time. Domen Lorbek (45% success rate from the 3-point line so far this season), will meet Damjan Stojanovski (31.5%). Who will impress more?

Head to head in regional league: In total 5:5; In Ljubljana 3:2.
