2017/18 ABA League Regular Season, Round 13, Saturday, 23.12.2017:

PETROL OLIMPIJA - CIBONA

Where? Tivoli Sports Hall, Ljubljana

When? 17:00

Story of the game: ABA League classic is coming to Ljubljana, as the only two teams that were a part of regional competition in each and every season will make their showdown. Cibona were the victorious of the two sides the first time they met this season and Petrol Olimpija will be the ones trying to get their satisfaction with the revenge.

The teams are currently tied (with three more rivals) at the sixth place in the standings, with five games won so far. However, Cibona are in somewhat better shape than the hosts, as they have won against Mega Bemax last round in the ABA League, while Petrol Olimpija have suffered two defeats in a row.

Historically speaking, Cibona have been a bit more successful in the battle of the two sides – leading 20:15 in victories, while in Ljubljana, the Dragons have prevailed more often – 9:7.

Match-up in focus: Jordan Morgan vs. Luka Žorić – there will be an excellent battle to enjoy in the paint… and lots of high-flying dunks to check out. Don’t miss this battle!

Head to head in regional league: In total 15:20; In Ljubljana 9:7.
