Edo Murić signed with Cedevita
Slovenian international Edo Murić is the new member of Cedevita and he will help the team led by Slaven Rimac at the small forward position.

The last club for which he played was Polish side Zielona Gora, while he used to be a member of Anadolu Efes, Banvit, Partizan NIS, Krka, Škofja Loka and Parklji before that. In 2017 Edo Murić won the gold medal with Slovenia national team at the EuroBasket.
Given that he had already been playing in the ABA League for Krka and Partizan NIS, Edo is well-familiar with the environment. The last season that he spent playing in the ABA League was the 2015/16 season, when he averaged 10.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists playing for Partizan NIS in this competition.
“He is the Slovenian international with the experience of playing in the ABA League. Perhaps he hasn’t had lots of luck in the past seasons playing with several different teams, but for sure he is a reinforcement for us and I expect him to contribute fully very quickly,” Slaven Rimac, Cedevita head coach Slaven Rimac told after his arrival to Dom sportova.

Novi igrač Cedevite je slovenski reprezentativac Edo Murić, koji će momčadi Slavena Rimca pomoći na poziciji krila.
Posljednji klub za koji je igrao je poljska Zielona Gora, a prije toga nastupao je za Anadolu Efes, Banvit, Partizan NIS, Krku, Škofju Loku i Parklji. Na EuroBasketu 2017 Edo Murić je sa Slovenijom osvojio zlatnu medalju.
S obzirom da je u ABA ligi već nastupao dok je igrao za Krku i Partizan NIS, Murić dobro poznaje to natjecanje. Posljednja sezona koju je Murić proveo u ABA ligi bila je 2015/16, a tada je za Partizan NIS u tom natjecanju prosječno po utakmici bilježio 10,4 poena, 4,2 skoka i 1,5 asistencije.
"Slovenski reprezentativac sa iskustvom igranja ABA lige. Možda se zadnje dvije, tri godine malo traži po raznim ekipama, malo nije imao niti sreće ali u svakom slučaju u ovom trenutku veliko pojačanje za nas i očekujem njegov puni doprinos vrlo brzo", rekao je po dolasku Murića trener Cedevite Slaven Rimac.
