Crvena zvezda mts have finished the 1st part of the 2018/19 ABA League regular season with the perfect score: 11 wins out of 11 rounds, but this is not the first time that someone has achieved this remarkable result. And it’s not the first time for Crvenw zvezda mts either.
In the history of the regional league we had 4 perfect teams at the mid-season:
2001/02 – Petrol Olimpija | Later became champions
2014/15 – Crvena zvezda mts | Later became champions
2016/17 – Crvena zvezda mts | Later became champions
2018/19 – Crvena zvezda mts | ?
As you can see Petrol Olimpija have done it once, while this is the 3rd time that Crvena zvezda mts are finishing the 1st part of the regular season as the undefeated team.
What is also interesting to mention is that Crvena zvezda mts hold the all-time record of the best overall score during the ABA League regular season. The red & whites finished the 2016/17 ABA League regular season with the overall score of 25-1.
So far, no one has finished the ABA League regular season with the perfect score. Can Crvena zvezda mts become the first team to do so?
