POST-GAME COMMENTS

Game recap: Koper Primorska scored a home-court win against Zadar this Monday evening in the last game of Round 10. This was another ABA League thriller as the winner was decided in the dying seconds of the 4th quarter. Zadar had two chances to take this match into overtime, however they missed two 3-point shots and left the court empty-handed.

Koper Primorska have returned to the Playoffs zone as they now have the overall score of 7-3, while Zadar are still all alone at the bottom of the table with the score of 1-9.

Key moments: Koper Primorska were up by 81:78, with 45 seconds remaining on the game clock. Zadar called for a time out and made a plan to give the ball to their top scorer Bryon Allen. Allen eventually got the ball and pulled up for a 3-pointer, however his shot has never made it through the basket.

On the other side of the court, Koper Primorska guard Lance Harris had 2 free throws and it looked like that he would seal the win for the home team… However he missed both free throw attempts and gave one last chance to Zadar to tie the score. This time, Dominik Mavra took the ball, he made himself a nice position for a 3-point shot… But, he missed. Zadar’s troops were then forced to make another foul and they made it once again on Lance Harris. This time Harris made both free throws and made the final score – 83:78.

Man of the match: Well, that would be Žan Mark Šiško! First of all, Žan Mark Šiško has set the new ABA League All-Time single-game record by making 19 assists in this match! On top of that he had 10 points and 9 rebounds, while his overall index rating was 30.

Can't trick the stats: It seems that Žan Mark Šiško made the difference in the stats single-handedly, because Koper Primorska had 27 assists in this match, while Zadar had just 13.
