Toni Nakić agreed on cooperation with Cibona for 3 years
Cibona has signed a 3-year contract with 21-year old Croatia national team player Toni Nakić.

The player, born in Šibenik, has spent his entire career so far at Šibenka. He was among the key players of the U20 national team members for the silver team from the European Championship. With his excellent performances, he earned himself a call into the A national team for the EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers.
The club strategy is to build the team on domestic and talented players and signing with Toni Nakić is another step towards achieving this objective. The club will build its senior team around Toni Nakić and Roko Prkačin and the rest of the roster and the negotiations with some of the players that were part of the team last season are ongoing.
As he signed with Cibona, Nakić told: “The interest of Cibona arrived last season and I was really looking forward to coming here since last summer. I had a desire to play on the higher level and arriving here a year afterwards is even more dear to me. I am happy, that Cibona have demonstrated their interest in bringing me in and now I have an equal desire to warrant the trust. I am hoping to battle for the trophies and to seeing as many people in Dražen Petrović Arena as possible.”

Toni Nakić potpisao vjernost Vukovima na 3 godine
Cibona potpisala je trogodišnji ugovor s 21- godišnjim reprezentativcem Hrvatske Tonijem Nakićem.
Rođeni Šibenčanin je dosadašnju karijeru proveo u Šibenki. Bio je jedan od nositelja reprezentacije U20 koja je osvojila srebro na Europskom prvenstvu. Svojim je igrama u veljači ove godine zaslužio i poziv u A reprezentaciju za kvalifikacijske utakmice za Eurobasket 2021. godine.
Klupska strategija i zalog za budućnost je gradnja momčadi na domaćim, mladim i perspektivnim igračima, a potpis darovitog Nakića je još jedan korak ka tome. Oko Tonija Nakića i Roka Prkačina će se slagati i ostatak rostera, a otvoreni su pregovori s nekim igračima koji su pod Tornjem bili i prošle sezone.
Toni Nakić je uz dogovor s Cibonom izjavio: „Interes Cibone se pojavio još prošle godine i uistinu sam se nadao da ću doći ovdje još prošlo ljeto. Imao sam želju i ambiciju otići u jači klub i viši rang tako da mi je ovaj dolazak nakon godinu dana još draži. Drago mi je da je Cibona pokazala veliku želju da me dovede, a sad ja imam jednaku želju da opravdam to! Nadam se borbi za trofeje i što većem broju ljudi u Draženovom domu!“
