The challenges will be great, the competition strong, but the Čačak squad is entering the training process highly motivated. Last season they have demonstrated their value and earned themselves a spot in the ABA League.

Even though more than two months separate us from the beginning of the competition, the Čačak team does not lose time and are eager to begin practicing, in accordance with the current situation.

“Today we have started the training camp for the new season, that will be a huge challenge for all of us within the club. After 30 years Borac is coming back to the big scene. For the first seven days we will be working outside the arena, but after that, we will start practicing in our hall in case the state measures allow it. That’s what the situation is like and we need to adapt. The situation is the same for all the clubs and therefore we have no right to complain,” head coach Marko Marinović told.

Together with Split, Borac are the first ABA League team to start the training camp ahead of the new season.

“We are starting our preparations a bit earlier and we are well aware why we are doing it. We have enough time and I am convinced that we will prepare ourselves properly. Our desire is to be ready for all of the challenges in the forthcoming season,” Čačak team’s coach told.

Twelve players were present at the first practice - Uroš Čarapić, Radovan Đoković, Nikola Kočović, Brajs Džons, Nemanja Todorović, Đorđe Majstorović, Ivan Gavrilović, Nenad Nerandžić, Boško Bumbić, Stevan Karapandžić, Đorđe Ćurčić and Đorđe Ćurčić.

,,Pripreme krećemo malo ranije, a mi znamo zašto to činimo.
