Novica Veličković is staying in Partizan NIS! The black & whites announced that they have extended contract with the team captain for one more season.

Novica Veličković is a true legend of Partizan NIS. He started his pro career in Partizan NIS and has played for this club from 2004 to 2009. In 2015 he returned to Partizan NIS and has stayed with the black & whites ever since.

During his time with the Belgrade powerhouse he won 3 ABA League championships, 5 Serbian Championships and 5 Serbian National Cups.

It is also important to mention that Novica Veličković holds the club record for most games played for Partizan NIS.

“Everyone knows how much Partizan NIS means to me and how much I am attached to this club. Over the years my role in the team has changed, but the desire to win and the motivation to justify my place on court have remained the same from the first day. And it will remain the same in the season in front of us,” said Veličković.

Rekorder po broju nastupa u dresu Partizana predvodiće crno-bele kao kapiten i u sezoni 2020/21. Ovog popodneva, Novica Veličković je potpisao novi ugovor sa klubom i na taj način i formalno potvrdio svoj ostanak u crno-belom dresu.

"Već je mnogo puta ispričana priča o tome koliko meni Partizan znači i koliko sam za njega vezan. Sa godinama, moja uloga u timu se menjala, ali želja za pobedom i motivacija da zalaganjem opravdam svoje mesto na terenu nikada nisu. Tako će biti i u sezoni pred nama", istakao je Veličković.
