ABA League Round 17, Monday, 1 February 2021:

IGOKEA - SPLIT

Where? Laktaši Sports Hall, Laktaši

When? 21:00

Story of the game: In the final game of Round 17, Igokea will host Split in Laktaši.

No need telling you that this game is very important for each side. Igokea are trying to remain in the Top 4 zone and grab the precious ticket for the Playoffs, but in order to do that they have to keep winning. That is why the boys from Laktaši will be fully motivated in the upcoming clash as every game might decide whether they will finish the regular season among the top 4 teams.

On the other side, Split are currently positioned in the middle of the table, however they have just win more than 13th placed Zadar. As you all know, whoever finishes the regular season at the 13th place will have to play the Relegation/Promotion Playoffs, which is why every team, including Split, wants to get away from that position as far as possible. And it is quite obvious how much an away win in Laktaši would mean to Split in that race.

Igokea and Split have faced each other 3 times so far in the regional league and Igokea have won each of those 3 games.

Match-up in focus: Stefan Pot (Igokea) vs. Roko Leni Ukić (Split).

These two point guards are very important for their teams. Not just that both of them are capable of scoring plenty of points, but their assists make the whole team better. And these two players know how to assist.

Head to head in the regional league: In total 3:0; In Laktaši 1:0.
