Game recap: The red-and-white part of Belgrade will be celebrating this Sunday evening as Crvena zvezda mts defeated Partizan NIS in the big derby. 

Crvena zvezda mts have been in front throughout most of the match, while at the end their defense brought them the win. The home side conceded only 4 points in the opening 7 minutes of the final quarter and they used that period to escape on a double-digit lead.

Crvena zvezda have therefore scored their 6^th consecutive win in ABA League and they have improved their season record to 16-2. On the other side, this was the 7^th defeat in a row for Partizan NIS who is now at 7-13.

Man of the match: Duop Reath definitely deserves this award. The 24-year-old big guy was the top scorer in the winning team with 15 points, while on top of that he grabbed 7 rebounds. And do not forget that Reath has just recently returned on the court after being sidelined for couple of weeks due to illness.

Can’t trick the stats: Partizan NIS players have once again had many problems with their 3-point shots. This evening, the black-and-whites made just 2 three-pointers for the entire game.
