In the last game of the Monday’s ABA League 2 schedule, Spars have edged out MZT Skopje Aerodrom after a thrilling finish in Zlatibor.
This way, Spars have achieved their 8th win of the season and qualified for the 2021 ABA League 2 Playoffs. On the other side, MZT Skopje Aerodrom continue their ABA League 2 season with a 6:5 record after 11 rounds and need to continue to struggle in order to book their Playoffs ticket.
The game could have easily go anybody’s way, as with 4 minutes and a half left on the game clock, the score was still tied at 62:62. That’s when Spars went on a 2 minute and a half long 8:0 run and pulled away to 70:62 with 2 minutes to go. The battle for a new pair of points was over.
In the end, Spars have prevailed with the score of 76:68.
