Story of the game: ABA League takes us to Belgrade on Monday evening as FMP are about to host Mornar in Round 24 of the 2020/21 ABA League regular season.
It is not really necessary to emphasize how important this game is for both sides. FMP are among the teams who are doing everything they can to avoid finishing the season at the 13th place, while on the other side Mornar are one of the teams who are fighting for the Playoffs. Therefore, winning this match would mean a lot to each of them.
After scoring two huge wins against Zadar and Cibona, FMP have lost the previous two games in the league against Crvena zvezda mts and Borac and they now want to get back on the winning track.
Mornar are in a very similar situation. Their 4-game winning streak ended two weeks ago after a road defeat against Partizan NIS, so the boys from Bar now want to start another winning run in order to finish the Playoffs race among the top 4 teams on the standings.

This is quite a special duel as these two players are among the best passers who have ever played in ABA League! Just recently, Nemanja Gordić has become the first ever player to reach 1,000+ assists in ABA League and he holds the 1st place on the ABA League All-Time Assists Leaders list with a total number of 1,007 assists. At the same time, Filip Čović is right behind Gordić on this list as he holds the 2nd place with a total number of 876 assists.
