ABA League Round 26, Monday, 26 April 2021:

PARTIZAN NIS - SPLIT

Where? Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall, Belgrade

When? 16:00

Story of the game: In the last round of the 2020/21 ABA League Regular Season, Partizan NIS will be hosting Split at home in Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall in Belgrade.

It is an exceptionally important game, not only for Split, that simply need to win in case they wish to avoid the 13th place in the standings (and hope that either Borac or Krka are defeated in their 26th round games), but also for Partizan NIS, that haven’t had really their best season ever and want to improve their impression for the 2020/21 season at least by ending it with a victory.

With 6 victories in a row, to be precise, since Partizan NIS have been victorious in their last 5 clashes in the ABA League. On the other side, Split have won 2 of their last 5 games, but lost 2 in a row recently.

Can they break their negative streak in the final round and the tradition as well (Split haven’t managed to beat Partizan NIS in Belgrade in the entire history of the regional competition)?

We’ll find out on Monday afternoon!

Match-up in focus: We will enjoy the head to head clash by two fantastic point guards, as Ognjen Jaramaz of Partizan Nis will take on Roko Leni Ukić. Jaramaz is currently both the top scorer and passer of the blach and white with an average of 12.7 points and 3.8 assists per game, while Ukić is currently the second-best in scoring and the best in passing for Split, averaging 14.9 points and 4.3 asssists per game. Which one will top the other one this time? Watch the game and find out!

Head to head in the regional league: In total 11:0; In Belgrade 5:0.
