Split have confirmed their 2nd signing today! After penning a deal with Tre McLean, the famous Yellow crew announced that they have signed a contract with 27-year-old power forward Tonko Vuko.

Vuko is therefore returning to his childhood club as he has played for Split youth selections. He left Split to go to a college in the USA and he spent two years at the Weatherford College and then two years at the University of Pacific.

After finishing his studies, Vuko returned to Croatia where he played for Alkar (2017/18), and for Šibenka (2018/19, 2019/2020), while he spent the previous season in Hungarian team Zalakeramia-ZTE KK.

“I do not feel like a newcomer here, because this is my club. Yes, I made a little detour while returning to my childhood club, but I fully believe in myself and, more importantly, I fully believe in this team. We have a strong roster and I believe that we can play against anyone,” said Vuko.
