Game recap: Partizan NIS have scored another convincing win in the 2021/22 regular season as they defeated Borac on the road in Round 6.

This match was quite a special one for everyone in Čačak.  For the 1^st time in his coaching career, Željko Obradović was part of some official game that was being played in his hometown and the legendary coach received standing ovation from the home crowd at the start of the match.

Still, Obradović and his boys did not let that warm welcome distract them from their goal. The black-and-whites were simply all over the court this evening, converting many fastbreaks into easy points to build their lead. The Belgrade side have gained a double-digit lead already by halftime, while in the 3^rd quarter they increased the gap to 20+ points. At that point of the game it was quite clear that the visitors would clinch a comfortable win.

Partizan NIS have therefore remained the only undefeated team in the league as they now have the overall score of 6-0. On the other side, Borac suffered their 4^th defeat in this season and they are now at 2-4.

Key moments: Partizan NIS have been in front from the start until the finish, while it was the 3^rd quarter in which the black-and-whites definitely sealed their win. The visitors scored 30 points in that period to escape on quite a safe distance ahead of the final 10-minute period – 74:51.

Man of the match: Alen Smailagić has put on another great performance for Partizan NIS in this season. The 21-year-old big guy scored 13 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, while he had his own dunking party in the 1^st half in which he made no less than 4 slams.

Can’t trick the stats: Partizan NIS made 15 steals today and they converted most of them into easy fastbreak points.
