Shannon Shorter is coming to Split

He is 193 cm tall and covers the shooting guard position. Shannon Shorter has had a rich international career on several continents.
In the 2019/20 season he used to wear PAOK jersey, later moved to Japanese side Chibi and he began this season at the Afyon in Turkey, averaging 15.4 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 8 games played, before the club found itself in the financial trouble.
“I am aware of the history of the club. I am excited and happy to be playing here and lead the team like Split. We know what our expectations are, to grab as many wins as we can,” Shorter told, before he headed to join his team, for which he will wear the jersey with number 24 on it.

Shannon Shorter, 32-godišnji Amerikanac iz Houstona, novi je igrač Splita.
Visok je 193 centimetra, igra na poziciji beka šutera, a iza Shortera je bogata inozemna karijera na više kontinenata.
U sezoni 2019/20 nosio je dres grčkog PAOK-a, sezonu kasnije bio je u japanskoj Chibi, a ovu je sezonu počeo u turskom Afyonu (u 8 odigranih utakmica prosjek mu je 15,4 poena, 5 skokova i 4 asistencije), koji je upao u financijske probleme.
“Znam povijest kluba, uzbuđen sam i sretan što ću igrati i predvoditi ekipu kakva je Split. Očekivanja se znaju, što više pobjeda,” rekao je Shorter, koji je u Istanbulu dočekao potpis ugovora i u najkraćem mogućem roku priključit će se momčadi. Shannon je odlučio nositi dres s brojem 24.
