Mega MIS have continued forming the team for the next season as, after they penned three players from OKK Beograd, they now signed a contract with 22-year old point guard Omercan Ilyasoglu.
Ilyasoglu started his pro career in Anadolu Efes in 2018 and he has experience of playing in both Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7Days EuroCup. Ilyasoglu spent the 2020/21 season on loan in Frutti Extra Bursaspor, while last season he went on another loan, this time in Besiktas where he spent the 2nd half of the 2022/23 campaign.
In the previous season he averaged 4.1 points and 1.8 assists in the Turkish Championship.
Omercan Ilyasoglu has been a regular member of youth selections of the Turkish national team and he was part of the U18 team that won the silver medal at the U19 EuroBasket 2019. He also made a debut for the senior squad of the Turkish national team.
Ilyasoglu is the 4th new player to join Mega MIS this summer after Andrija Jelavić, Timotej Malovec and Stefan Miljenović.

Omerdžan Ilijasolu novo pojačanje Mega MIS-a iz Anadolu Efesa
Košarkaški klub Mega MIS nastavlja sa sastavljanjem tima za narednu takmičarsku godinu, pošto je posle trija iz OKK Beograda angažovao i novog plejmejkera. U pitanju je talentovani turski košarkaš iz redova Anadolu Efesa, Omerdžan Ilijasolu (22).
Ilijasolu je profesionalnu karijeru počeo u Efesu. Iza sebe ima i iskustvo igranja u Evroligi i Evrokupu, a kalio se i u dresu Burse tokom sezone 2020/21. Nakon nastupanja za Efes, drugom delu tekuće je igrao na pozajmici u Bešiktašu.
U takmičarskoj godini na izmaku u proseku je beležio 4,1 poena i 1,8 asistencija u prvenstvu Turske.
Nastupao je i za mlađe reprezentativne kategorije u domovini, a sa U18 reprezentacijom je na Evropskom prvenstvu 2019. godine osvojio srebrnu medalju a debitovao je i za seniorsku reprezentaciju Turske.
Mladi turski košarkaš je četvrto pojačanje Mega MIS-a za narednu sezonu, nakon Andrije Jelavića, Timoteja Maloveca i Stefana Miljenovića koji su stigli iz OKK Beograda.
