Cedevita Olimpija win the Slovenian National Championship trophy third time in a row
Cedevita Olimpija have prevailed over the Helios Suns for the third time in four games in the Finals of the Slovenian National Championship and claimed their 20th domestic championship trophy in the club’s history.

The Dragons of Ljubljana are celebrating. They have prevailed over the Helios Suns in the Final series of the Slovenian National Championship in four games 3:1 and have won their third consecutive Slovenian National Championship trophy and the 20th in total in the club’s history.
It has been a game, in which Cedevita Olimpija have quickly pulled away, won the first quarter by 5 points, while in the 16th minute of the clash, when Mirko Mulalić scored for the 40:30 lead, they have already been up by a double-digit number of points. In the remainder of the game, the Dragons managed to cruise calmly towards the win with the final score of 99:71.
For Cedevita Olimpija, Zoran Dragić led the way in scoring with 21 points on his record, while Yogi Ferrell added 13.
On their way towards the Finals, Cedevita Olimpija have first prevailed over Šentjur in the Quarterfinals 2:0 and afterwards GGD Šenčur in the Semifinals, with the same score in the series.
